Biography
Donnalee Blankenship has had an eclectic career. Trained in marketing and advertising, she studied Spanish in Mexico and Puerto Rico, graduating from the University of Alabama at Birmingham. She taught ESL at the elementary level and Spanish at UAB. She was on the school board for 3 years and raised between $10k-20k each year for 8 years at her daughter's school. For 20 years, she worked in the entertainment industry serving as both emcee and judge for numerous scholarship programs for young women. Donnalee ran a successful pottery business, with her work in stores all over the state of Alabama. As a hobby photographer, her photographs have been used in commercial endeavors around the world.
Donnalee has a passion for marriages and children. Fostering kids and opening her home to those in need, she and her husband of 32+ years live on their farmette in Pelham, Alabama. They counsel couples in crisis and teach a nearly/newly married class at their church.
